Oft overlooked, this site can be a godsend for newer researchers and experts!
Everything from microfiche records to modern digital ones!
If you had a site to start looking for your ancestors, this is a great one. Full of training videos, helpful articles and a welcoming community, this site can help you learn more about what we do! It also boasts one of the most comprehensive libraries for the professional.
I am stopping here to see if some records for my search are now online so I thought I would share with substack readers. It is one of the greatest places to look and it used to be you often had to visit in person, when I was younger. Now a lot of records and learning content are online.
So check it out. I am talking about the National Archives!

It is definitely a national treasure and visiting it is an experience all its own for family historians like us!
